- Large trail of blood at assumed crime scene.
- No murderer found, no body, no weapon.
- No witnesses, other than the receptionist who saw the body being dragged around the corner. She made the call.
- Bloody knife found in trash can. Whether it relates to the case is unknown.
- I fit perfectly within an imprint on the floor at the crime scene.
- Keep Criminal Mastermind in mind for culprits. The mystery surrounding this case leads me to believe it's just his kind of crime.
- Trail of blood goes from lobby to shipping/receiving room.
- Trail of blood goes under garage door in shipping/receiving room.
- One "Grand Homme" recieves and sends out shipments for the hotel.
- Grand Homme has yet to clock out tonight.
- Custodial Staff clocked out just five minutes before the murder was reported.
- Grand Homme's last shipment was just ten minutes before the murder was reported.
- All other "backroom" employees clocked out much earlier.
- Strange, overly-realistic sticky note found in shipping/receiving room.
- Someone left a churro in the paper recycling bin.
- The churro was wrapped in a note - a schedule? - that's all smudged up with oil. Says something about meeting with the gang and letting S* do his thing.
- Custodial Staff does not keep his office clean. Cigarettes, pens, and paper are all over the floor.
- Every day in February has been crossed off so far, besides for today the 14th. CS also circled today's date.
- CS clocked in at 10 this morning.
- CS seems to have started working at the hotel on the fifth of January. GH has been here for far longer.
- The computer in CS's office looks like it hasn't been used in a long time. Lots of dust. No keyboard.
- Dangerous Dealer, member of the Twilight Gang, left a note for me in CS's office.
- The Twilight Gang is responsible, but like DD says in his note, I don't have much connecting this case to them.
- The blood is blood. I'll be honest, I'm not sure why I verified this.
- The receptionist was on break when the murder happened. Just before she went on break, she saw a large man with a droopy hat come in.
- The same large man just came in a few minutes ago. I figure that's who I heard being yelled at earlier.
- Grand Homme spends most of his time in the shipping/receiving room. Recently, he's been spending time with Custodial Staff in his office.
- CS's computer has searches for North Street Diner, one of Criminal Mastermind's fronts.
- A big guy came in before the murder and asked people to go upstairs, according to the doorman. Seems likely that this is the same big guy that the receptionist mentioned.
- Big guy confirmed to be none other than Heavy Bodyguard, member of the Twilight Gang.
- After reviewing the evidence, I've got a hunch that the murder itself was perpetrated by Silent Killer, member of the Twilight Gang.
- Thought about the Twilight Gang more and where their fourth member, Courteous Scammer, fits into all this. I realize now that it's highly possible he's been posing as Custodial Staff for the past month.
- Upon looking all around the hotel, it appears that the police have completely left?
- Custodial Staff had left a letter of resignation in his office. Effective tonight. It's possible Courteous Scammer used this job as a way into the hotel.
- Found a fingerprint on the computer monitor. Seems that someone in here decided to pick up a little dust.
- Examining the knife gave me a couple interesting pieces of information: the code "CCC-0402" stamped into the handle, and the same fingerprint that I found off the computer. Seems possible that this knife was involved in the murder.
- Inquisitive Dame showed up to help with those prints I found earlier. Turns out that they're all Silent Killer's. Must have had the knife at some point and swiped the dust off the computer at some point.
- I thought through it: CS was their in for the hotel. HB cleared out the lobby. SK did the crime. DD, presumably, got SK the weapon. Just need to put it all together.
- Someone's been in the shipping and receiving room. Garage door's open. Keys are gone.
- Someone knocked me out when I stepped into the alley behind the hotel. Seems like this case is getting more interesting.
